MC Imminent

DJ IMMINENT got his start at 14 when he discovered turntables and beat machines for the first time. Already a musician playing keys, guitar, trombone, and vocals, he felt right at home behind the decks. Influenced by his Jamaican roots and fully hooked after hearing Roni Size & Reprazent’s New Forms, he dove deep into Jungle, Drum & Bass, and all forms of breakbeat-driven music.

After earning his audio engineering degree in Orlando and performing at Torque, one of North America’s longest-running Drum & Bass nights, he built a career providing the soundtrack for more than 1,000 events across Florida and throughout the U.S.

Known for subgenre-blending sets, sharp scratching, strong mic presence, and adventurous mixing, IMMINENT has rocked festival stages at Earthdance, shared bills with artists like Faust & Shortee, DJ Rap, BCee, Ben Soundscape, Collette Warren, and SpinScott, and continues to evolve as a DJ, vocalist, and songwriter, pushing boundaries while promoting a positive culture within the Drum & Bass community.
