This Privacy Policy explains how Hallucination Media, LLC ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information through hbcparty.com and the Hallucination Before Christmas event, including our email and text message programs.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping address when you buy tickets or merchandise, sign up for our newsletter or text messages, or contact us.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal, and Venmo. They receive your payment details directly; we do not store full card numbers on our website.
  • Information collected automatically: your device and browser type, pages visited, and how you reached our site, collected through cookies, Google Analytics, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel.

How we use your information

  • To process orders, deliver tickets, and ship merchandise
  • To send order confirmations, receipts, and account messages such as password resets
  • To send marketing emails and, only if you opt in, marketing text messages
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support
  • To understand how our site is used and measure our advertising
  • To prevent fraud and comply with the law

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and the event:

  • Payment processors: Stripe, PayPal, and Venmo, to process payments
  • Sender.net: to send our emails and text messages
  • Printful: to produce and ship merchandise orders
  • Google Analytics and Meta: to analyze site traffic and measure advertising

We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number only to send you the messages you agreed to receive. We will not share or sell your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the service providers that deliver our messages. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP. Your choices

  • Email: click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any marketing email.
  • Text messages: reply STOP to any message.
  • Cookies and analytics: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics, and you can adjust ad preferences in your Facebook account settings.
  • Access or deletion: email orders@hbcparty.com to ask what information we hold about you or to have it deleted, subject to records we must keep by law.

Data retention and security

We keep your information as long as needed to provide our services, keep business records, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Age limit

Our site and event are intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
