Transplanted to Florida as a child, his heart and mind were spiced with the influence of the southern vibe. It is from the soundclash of a northern industrial heartbeat and southern fried bass waves that the Monk emerged.

Equal parts dj, artist, and producer, MONK can be best described as a CREATIVE VISIONARY and LEADER in the underground dance music scene. MONK was recognised early in his career as a tastemaker dj, co-collaborator and co-founder of HALLUCINATION MUSIC, and as a member of legendary music innovators RABBIT IN THE MOON. As a label guru, he was integral in the A&R, executive direction, branding and development of artists. In Rabbit In The Moon, his collaboration with artist David Christophere, he was equally responsible for creative direction, and with D.C., they put thier fingerprints on the creation of some of the most influential sounds in dance music. Some will say Monk is a “creative muse”, of a one-of-a-kind collective of co-conspirators, who helped to define a unique sound for a generation of ravers. As a result, his words, work, and image have been featured on MTV and in the pages of DJ, Mixmag, BPM, Playboy and many more.

Monk originally honed his craft as a dj and producer as a vinyl mixologist on turntables and later dialed in unforgettable audio visual sets with cutting edge digital technology. Always in tune with the dancefloor, his unique multi-genre sets and music production has inspired generations of djs and producers, and always pushes the boundaries of creative performance innovation and remixing mastery. His remix discography includes some of the most respected musicians in the industry. The likes of Sting, Britney Spears, A Tribe Called Quest, Limp Bizkit and many more have requested his touch on some of the most popular tunes of our lifetimes. Equally important, Monk sets have been a part of some of the most relevant music festivals of our lifetime. Requesting his unique style over the years have been massive gatherings such as Electric Daisy Carnival, Nocturnal Wonderland, Ultra Music Festival, Zoolu, Dirty Bird Camp Inn, while he simultaneously realizes the importance of staying true to intimate smaller venues and parties across the nation.

Never one to slow down, Monk continues to forge his path future forward in the electronic dance music scene. 2026 will witness the rebirth of his iconic and beloved Hallucination brand, coming correct with a stable of fresh new and seasoned legacy artists.
