Hallucination Before Christmas is returning to The Castle in Ybor! This venue has fit perfectly with the HBC theme and we are excited to return with the Hallucination Before Christmas Celebration in 2024.

The Castle has been dear friends to the Hallucination & Czar Nation families for many years. We are excited to be back throwing HBC at this venue!

The Castle opened on Guavaween in 1992 as a small saloon with a determined goal: create a great place that all of our friends would like to visit.

Adding in the idea of strong drinks, from a diverse selection of single malt scotches, small batch bourbon, aged tequila and a eclectic mix of beers from around the world didn’t hurt either. A killer jukebox supplied the music for a few years, before Dj’s were added to spice up the varied genre’s that the Castle royalty required.

Since then, there has been many changes but the goals are still the same.

We like to think that Hallucination Before Christmas is where Halloween and Christmas meet in a head on collision, so dressing crazy, club kid, goth, freaky, fetish, and in costume is always encouraged. Come to have a good time, and be yourself or your favorite character.

Street Parking:

Between 17th & 18th St.’s on 9th Ave.
Between 14th & 15th St.’s on 8th Ave.
Between 5th & 6th Ave on 15th St.

Parking lots:

There are several parking lots & garages controlled by the City of Tampa which have plenty of parking and are short walks to the venue.
