ROOM: Halloween Town

LaniAkea, is an underground dwelling dj primarily shrouded in mystery, and spawning from the volcanoes of Hawaii. However, this wasn’t always the case. A chameleon of sorts and force of energy, upon moving to Los Angeles, LaniAkea was selected as the touring dj for the Backstreet Boys, and subsequently the opening dj for Britney Spears. After his mark was made in pop culture, he returned to his underground roots and has since morphed his dj sets into a mix of percussion, custom dj edits and a showcase of his skill. His sets are a blend without a specific genre tag, but rather a study of anything from trap and midtempo bass to tech house, techno, EDM, with a splash of classic vibes and everything in between. With LaniAkea, the dancefloor will never know what to expect, aside from a journey containing a uniquly curated blend of driving party music.

Recently, LaniAkea has been instrumental in supporting the vision of the relaunch of Hallucination Recordings and the indie club monster Filthy Richard. In 2025, expect an onslaught on new EDM bangers from him and his crew, and even more creative contributions to special event productions.
